In 2004, ZacPoor made the move from his hometown of Fairfield, Montana to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a professional singer-songwriter. Now, after years of hard work and commitment, his dream is finally coming true. Swedish hit-maker and music producer of Fox's hit show "Glee" Adam Anders took note of the young songwriter - who has already collaborated on projects with the likes of Nick Jonas, Matt Scannell of Vertical Horizon, Samantha Jade and more - and is now working closely with him on his debut EP, scheduled for release on August 24th.

Citing the influence of singer-songwriters like Bruce Springsteen, Phil Collins, Richard Marx and Bryan Adams, Zac's music combines pop with rock roots to establish a unique sound. The first single "She'll Be Breaking Hearts" showcases his ability to create authentic and emotional pop music with universal themes of love, loss, and hope. "My songs are both inspired by my own life experiences and those of others around me ... For a songwriter, everything must inspire you so your life is not the only thing on display. If it was, not everyone could relate."

biography
Musical artist ZacPoor creates authentic and emotional pop music inspired by his real life experiences. As a singer-songwriter with an appreciation of the past and a desire for connection, this talented musician brings an expressive and genuine texture to his music.

Writing all of his own music and establishing his unique sound, Zac uses his personal experiences to create songs with universal themes of love, loss, and hope. His clever, poetic lyrics appeal to music fans, establishing a rapport with a wide audience.

Zac’s latest digital release, an EP entitled, “Let’s Just Call It Heartbreak,” features several songs with upbeat pop hooks coupled with touching sentiments that capture a tone of heartfelt honesty. These songs include, She’ll Be Breaking Hearts; Silver Screens; Radio; Say Yeah!; and Meet Me By The Stairs.

Dedicated to developing his musical career, Zac is presently in the recording studio working with renowned industry talent Adam Anders of AMI Records, the highly acclaimed musical producer for the hit TV show, Glee. Zac’s forthcoming album, featuring new music, is scheduled for release this year. Currently, Zac performs along side his band, live in the Los Angeles area, with a future national tour in the works.

In addition to his own project, Zac is a recognized songwriter, and has a signed publishing deal with Anders as well. He has worked with many signed artists and a number of influential writers such as Nick Jonas, Jess Cates, Pam Sheyne, Matt Scannell, Lindy Robbins and David Frank, among others.

An avid music fan himself, Zac’s influences include singer-songwriters Bruce Springsteen, Phil Collins, Richard Marx and Bryan Adams. His music combines pop with rock roots to create an element of exuberance that permeates throughout his songs. A self-described “walking contradiction,” Zac says his personality lends itself to introspective songwriting.

Born and raised in the small town of Fairfield, Montana, Zac’s music has been greatly inspired by his rural background, as well as his recent experiences in Southern California and writing trips to New York. With a strong interest in the music world, Zac studied music in school before moving to Los Angeles.

Zac currently resides in Los Angeles, CA and is an amateur photographer when he is not writing songs or working on his music.

ZacPoor is signed to AMI records, managed by Ryan O’Donnell of New Heights Entertainment and is working with EMG (Executive Music Group) for marketing.
